As you can see, the online shop is empty! You will know about the rising costs of electricity, of course. But I’ve also had a big rise in costs for grains, insurance, bottles, carboard boxes and so forth. And as I’m so small scale I can’t buy stuff by the pallet, which means I pay a higher cost per unit as a result. As a result I’ve decided to concentrate on putting alls of my beer into casks for a little while, which helps my margins, and which will help local independent pubs.
