Those nice people at South Woodham Ferrers were after a couple of stronger beers for their October 2019 beer fest, and I was happy to oblige. I upped the grain bill to brew a stronger version of 8 Grain, and also experimented with a liquid yeast. Suffice to say that the beer attenuated down further than previously, and it ended up with a higher ABV than intended. However, they didn’t mind, and as xmas is coming up, an imperial stout in bottles should go down well. hic.
