For the first of three brews in January I’ve brewed Black Otter again. Destined for casks (Colchester Winter Beer Festival and Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival seeing as you ask) and bottles (Two Brews in Colchester and ‘somewhere else’). And by way of an experiment, I’ve brewed White Otter as well – replacing the small proportion of dark grains from Black Otter with more pale malt.
