Black Lava (Liqourice and Vanilla Ale) was brewed in 2016, and only available in bottles, and in limited numbers, so I decided another brew of this complex porter, with additional Xmassy spices, would be A Good Thing for Xmas 2017.
UPDATE (Dec 2017) : bottles delivered to Two Brews in Colchester (4th Dec) and Hopsters in Ipswich (5th Dec), and casks delivered to The Ale House Chelmsford (6th Dec), and The Victoria Inn (8th Dec). And note the Watsons Brewery strapline ‘Singular Brews from Colchester’ aka ‘When They’re Gone They’re Gone (and only a limited chance of appearing again)’.
