The second run out with the new kit, and it being summer I decided a pale ale was somewhat overdue. A tweak to Brew #14 Amarillo Single Hop APA, with the addition of new kid on the block hop, Azacca.
Used in late and dry hopping, with big citrus and tropical fruit notes, Azacca is named after the Haitian vodou god of the harvest, Azaka Medeh, hence the label design.
Unfined and unfiltered, and so a little hazy. 5.6%abv.
UPDATE : One cask was quaffed at The Victoria Inn in Colchester and one at The Hop Beer Shop in Chelmsford (untappd ratings and reviews here). Bottles were at Two Brews in Colchester and The Hop Beer Shop.
