Brew 111 is the fourth annual vintage edition Old Ale. There are a few bottles of the 2017 and 2018 vintages left in the cold room, and the 2017 ones are drop dead gorgeous. The 2020 beer tasted great now, as the lucky few of you who have had a bottle will attest, but I’m keeping the rest back for a while to mature further.
In pursuit of the perfect recipe, this year there is a Sekrit Ingredient in the beer, which I think has worked well. The beers came out at 6.9%abv, or as the powers-that-be now insist – alc 6.9% vol.
