Another cask only brew – casks of this hoppy American Stout will be appearing towards the end of June 2018. 5.8%abv.
You’ll find this on cask at the Mersea Food Drink and Leisure Festival and the Bishops Stortford Food and Drink Festival over the BH weekend, and the following week at the Colchester Beer Festival.
The first in an Asgardian series, perhaps.
A cask-only version of this beer, destined for beerfests in Wivenhoe and Ipswich, and on the bar at The Victoria Inn in Colchester.
Second brew of the month – an American Brown Ale. Two new-to-me American hops (Bravo and Delta).
First brew of March. Raspberries, coconut and cacao nibs in a chocolate milk stout. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I haven’t brewed this for several months, and not on the new kit, and never put it into bottles, until now.
Another single hop pale ale, this time using Simcoe hops.
Following on from last year’s ‘Samambaia’ mocha milk stout – a coffee porter with a touch of rye to give it that little extra something.
I thought I’d complement the brew of Black Otter with a brew using the same recipe, excluding the one dark grain that turns it black. So a White Black IPA I suppose.
